Squash - At Auvillar Other Outdoor Pursuits - Rock-climbing, caving and kayaking are all available in the Aveyron gorges. Markets Many of the surrounding villages hold regular farmers’ markets. The weekly markets in Moissac, Lauzerte and Montcuq, for example, are well worth a visit. According to the time of year there are many specialist local markets - the garlic market at Beaumont de Lomagne; the “cepe” mushroom market at Vaissac; the duck and goose liver markets at Castelsarrasin, Beaumont de Lomagne, Montauban and Valence d’Agen, the truffle and saffron markets at Caussade. Festivals and Entertainments August - “Au Fil de l’Eau - Une Histoire”, a live performance at Valence d’Agen; Quercy wine festival; the festival of tastes and flavours, the garlic festival at Beaumont de Lomagne. September - Chasselas competition and the festival of Moissac fruits in 2007 (every two years). January and February - departmental festival “Alors Raconte!”. May - festival at Montauban “Alors Chante”. July - festival of song “Vibrations” at Moissac festivals of jazz at Montauban and throughout the department of Tarn-et-Garonne.
